GUAM scuba dive
Guam offers world-class scuba diving conditions year-round, with water temperatures consistently between 27°C and 29°C (81°F–84°F). Its dive topography is incredibly unique, offering a blend of dramatic natural limestone formations, thriving marine sanctuaries, and a dense concentration of historic shipwrecks.
Guam Blue Hole is widely considered Guam's most famous and iconic natural dive site, situated off the coast of the Orote Peninsula. This breathtaking site features a vertical limestone shaft that drops dramatically into the reef flat, providing a truly distinct underwater perspective.
The Descent: The natural shaft begins at a depth of roughly 60 feet (18 meters). Divers enter from the plateau and drop down through the darkness into a striking vertical chamber.
The Window: Advanced and experienced deep divers can "shoot the hole," exiting through a massive underwater opening or "window" located at about 125 to 130 feet (approx. 40 meters) into the deep blue ocean.
Visibility: Divers frequently praise the site for its phenomenal visibility, which often allows individuals on the boat or near the surface to peer straight down to the top of the hole.
